09.29.08 ~ KISS Has It Covered!

Just a quick note …

All KISS albums do receive a cover. KISS sent my parent album covers IMMEDIATELY in a second package, but we had already filmed the second episode, so they are not featured in it. You can see all the albums, in their covers, in our introductory episode in the archives.

The covers are quite sophisticated … very nice fabric, and do come with all albums at no additional charge. Just so you know!

09.28.08 ~ What’s in the Box? KISS Parent Albums!

In Part 2 of our review of KISS Wedding Books, Robin details the Parent duplicate albums matching the Primary album in our previous episode. These two 8×8’s arrived in the box along with the 10×10 Primary, as well as the Little KISSes, to be featured in Part 3.

Be sure to let us know what you think of What’s in the Box. Enjoy!!

09.25.08 ~ The White Glove Treatment

Stefanie asked a great question that I think deserves a post …

The White Gloves!

Using white gloves is an easy way to show your clients that their purchase is special. It’s like the paper mats that the service department puts in your car so that the carpet in your car is protected. There is no need to handle your own samples with white gloves, but if you do, the client need not wear them. You don’t want to give the impression that the albums are ‘delicate’. You do want to make sure that the client realizes that what you are sharing with them is an art book. It’s not to be man-handled or abused. It’s not going to hold up to liquids being spilled on it, crayons scribbling on it, or a pet scratching it. It’s a hand crafted professional art book, their first family heirloom. Treat it that way, and it will last several lifetimes. The white gloves speak more to service, the perception of your professionalism, and the respect that you have for the product and for them as a client. It’s an inexpensive way to set your service apart and make a great impression with your albums.

09.23.08 ~ What’s in the Box? KISS album details

Photographer Jennifer Grigg asked us about the size of the KISS album featured in What’s in the Box, so we want to share some of the details. It is a 10×10 40 page album, black leather cover, printed and bound by KISS Wedding Books, and designed by Robin. You can view the full design by clicking the image. Thank you, everyone, for your interest and comments.

09.20.08 ~ What’s in the Box? KISS Wedding Books!

In our first full episode of What’s in the Box?, Robin takes a close look at KISS Wedding Books and introduces our fun new rating system. There are quite a number of items in this box, so our first several episodes will feature all the contents. Be on the lookout for the next What’s in the Box?

09.18.08 ~ Important Note About Lead Times

We are currently very busy and want to be sure everyone understands the Lead Times posted here on the home page. These indicate how long a wait before new orders can be scheduled. It is important that you check this before submitting an order. We believe this is a good way to manage your expectations so that you can then better communicate turnaround times with your own clients.

So if you submit a new Design Order, at this time it will be 10 days before normal turnaround begins. Similarly, if you submit a Refine Order with standard turnaround of 3-5 days, production will not begin for approximately 14 days.

And we want to thank all of our dedicated clients for their patience and understanding!
