KISS wants you to know that the plastic that is recycled, and a few other "green" considerations:

You can also deliver it to your client in the plastic--so in case it ever needs to be shipped or carted around, you can protect it. It can be saved by you and used to ship albums to your clients, or you can ship an album back if a repair is needed.

You also may want to read: http://www.boston.com/bostonglobe/magazine/articles/2008/09/28/in_praise_of_plastic/

Essentially, because plastic is so light, it's much better on the environment because it takes less energy (gas, pollution, etc.) to transport and create it. Going with "greener" products actually increases a company's carbon footprint because of the energy used to create those products and the expense (on the environment) of transporting them.

Plastics can also be used over and over again, so they're more practical and energy efficient than other materials.

Wow as great as I think the packaging works and looks good. I have to wonder how enviormentally safe that is. Plastic that big has to be cumbersome to expose of and definitely harmful to just be thrown away. It's just one of the first things I thought of when I saw it. It works well, looks professional and safe for shipping, but gets a huge minus for not being "green" in my book.
