A New Approach to Lines & Strokes
January 29th, 2009
This recent design for photographer Rupert Whiteley features elaborate stroke patterns to compliment his fine photographs. Strokes are often used in our non-graphic designs, and the challenge is to discover new ways to use simple lines to create something truly unique. Lines should not only lead the eye, but define a concept in a cohesive way without overpowering the images. This design successfully accomplishes this effort, providing Rupert a theme that is light and fresh, yet retains a classic approach.
